Sowat twee weke gelede het die splinternuwe driedelige doccie, Steinheist se eerste episode op Showmax gedrop en ons het daaroor gesels. Al drie episodes is nou beskikbaar om in een sitting te binge. Kortom, kyk hierdie dokumentêre reeks na die skielike bedanking van Markus Jooste, uitvoerende hoof, en die gevolglike rampspoedige ineenstorting van Steinhoff.  Baie mense regoor Suid-Afrika en die wêreld soek Jooste se bloed.  Steinheist het intussen ook Devilsdorp onttroon as die mees gekykte doccie op launch-dag, maar dis te verwagte, want beide reekse is absoluut fokken briljant en is vervaardig deur IdeaCandy wat pretty much on top of hulle game is.

Die reeks spog ook met die rykste cast in ‘n Suid-Afrikaanse reeks tot op datum, met onder andere Christo Wiese wat tans Suid-Afrika se derderykste persoon is, ten spyte van die feit dat hy die meerderheid van sy rykdom as gevolg van Marcus Jooste verloor het.  Suid-Afrika se eie Warren Buffet wat die groot dryfkrag was agter PEP en Shoprite. Een van die mees gerespekteerde ballies in die besigheidsbedryf wat vir ‘n poes gevat is. Hierdie omie het nogal baie te sê gehad en ons kyk vandag na 11 van sy beste quotes.
Christo Wiese weet nie eers hoe fokken ryk hy is tot die naaste miljard nie:
“I have no idea because my experience has been that generally people who know how much they’re worth are not worth a hell of a lot.”

Sy reaksie op die Steinhoff crash:
