And by nine series and movies, I actually mean 19! Fok, I would give anything to be a kid again, but I want to go back in time and take today’s technology with me. It was great plonking down in front of the TV with your sibs and your tjommies between 15:00 and 17:00 on weekdays for some K-Tv action back in the day. We had the coolest animated shows to watch but jirre, if you miss it and you didn’t tape it, it was fokken tickets, china. Imagine we had the power of streaming back then? Kids especially, are spoilt for choice when it comes to streaming these days. Jissis there is a lot to choose from. Just looking at the animated LEGO movies and series alone gives them probably a year of solid TV viewing without a piss break, so here are 9 titles that I picked from that massive list:
LEGO Marvel Superheroes: Maximum Overload
Loki has found a way to “overload” supervillains and unleashes them on the Marvel universe. Can Spider-Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Hulk and the rest of the superheroes defeat these monsters? Of course he can. We’re adults and we can figure this shit out. But does you kid now if they can muster the courage? Oooh, the tense fokken drama!
LEGO Marvel: Spiderman
When Peter Parker gained special powers, he knew he had to do good with them. Now, as Spider-Man, fighting villains has become the norm. Remember Rabobi? We had to fokken simulcast that shit! Now Spidey is sommer a cartoon and a LEGO mannetjie! Go, Spidey!
LEGO Marvel: Black Panther
Shame man, Black Panther star, Chadwick Bsomeman passed away just 2 months ago. I actually think I’m going to watch this one. Ulysses Klaue and Eric Killmonger team up with Thanos as they try, once again, to loot Wakanda’s Vibranium mines. Black Panther has to stop them, but he might need some help.
LEGO Marvel Superheroes: Avengers Reassembled
Ultron takes control of Iron Man’s suit and The Avengers have no time to lose. Ultron is such a doos.
LEGO Marvel: Guardians of the Galaxy: The Thanos Threat
How cool was the “grown-up” version of these two movies? I think I’m putting this one on my list as well. The Guardians need to work together to thwart Thanos and his underlings and deliver the Build Stone to the Avengers. Thanos is even a bigger doos than Ultron!
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
The first movie was a fucking blast, so I am deffos putting this on my list – Five years after everything was awesome (remember that tune?), the heroes of Bricksburg are back and this time they have to find a way to defeat LEGO DUPLO space invaders who are destroying everything in their path. Oh ja, DUPLO also started making movies now if I’m not mistaken?
LEGO City Adventures
Lekker little series of 20 episodes of 11 minutes in length each. LEGO City is where the most awesome of awesomeness happens. It is home to the fiercest firefighters, top cops and many blockheads. Nouma mooi!
LEGO Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit
So this seems to be a 40 minute movie split into 2 parts and it is the prequel to Lego Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape. Jurassic World gives the backstory to each of the characters and how they got involved in Jurassic Park. Ag OK, it sounds piele enough for me to watch. Why not?
LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu
This is the one you need to be careful for because it is really good and there are 98 episode in total! You might get lost in this series like I plan to do. Follow Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane’s journeys to master their elemental powers and Spinjitzu weapons so that they can protect the land of Ninjago. So much for recommending it to kids when it seems like I’m going down the rabbit hole myself.

#6 The Train of Salt & Sugar is an African cross-country adventure with powerful social themes The Train of Salt & Sugar made history as the first Oscar foreign-language entrant for Mozambique. A landmark film for the country, it is laden with historical significance and set during the Mozambican Civil War.
